Valpar Work Samples measure an individual’s work-related capacities, skills, knowledge, interests and temperaments.

Cognitive, physical and mental capacities are appealed to in every job. However, none of these aspects will do the job by itself. Results of work always depend on the integral use of these cognitive, physical and mental capacities. Valpar Work Samples use this reality.

All Work Samples are appropriate for use with disabled or nondisabled persons and adaptation for visually impaired or blind persons are available.
Valpar Work Samples are well suited to a variety of work hardening uses.
Valpar Work Samples use Methods-Time Measurement (MTM) to establish industrial work rate standards. Successful performance demonstrates a variety of aptitudes, physical demands, and other factors.
Scores may be interpreted against criterion-referenced standards, supplied norms, or locally developed norms.
Valpar Work Samples use accuracy standards and learning curve adjusted MTM standards to determine whether the evaluee has demonstrated the work sample's Profile. Adjusted MTM standards are provided for individual exercises as well as MTM standards unadjusted for learning.
Due to the standardisation the evaluator can easily focus on evaluation of work behaviours.
